He also served the Canadian Department of National Defense for ten years as environmental and general safety manager for the Royal Canadian Air Force (1999-2008). He started his career for the Quebec Department of Public Health as environmental health researcher (1997-1999). \nMr. Tremblay specializes in integrating environmental considerations in operations\, in implementing practical and cost-effective environmental risk management solutions\, and in providing strategic and tactical advisory services to senior leaders\, in the context of peacekeeping\, industrial and military activities. \nMr. Tremblay holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Sherbrooke and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Earth Science from the Laurentian University\, both in Canada. He is a certified environmental professional in Canada and he’s fluent in English and French. \nMs. Yvette Khoury\, Team Leader\, Engineering and Infrastructure Team\, United Nations Procurement Division \nMs. Yvette Khoury is a Procurement Officer with the Technology and Infrastructure Support Service of the Procurement Division in the Office of Supply Chain Management of the United Nations. Her current duty involves the procurement of goods and services in the areas of Power Generation\, Accommodation and Water and Waste Water Treatment in support of UN Missions worldwide. Prior to taking this task\, Yvette Khoury worked in the Aviation Transportation and Logistics Section with the long term Air Charter Team. Before joining the United Nations Procurement Division\, she has worked in the private sector and held the position of Application Specialist with a leading medical company called Draeger Medical in Canada. In previous work experience\, she held the position of Procurement and Supply Manager for a large medical equipment distributor in the West Bank\, Palestine. Throughout this period\, she managed the department\, participated in numerous local and international tenders for the supply of medical equipment to major healthcare facilities\, negotiated and signed contracts with manufacturers and entered into agreements with healthcare facilities for the supply\, installation and maintenance of medical equipment. \nMs. Yvette Khoury holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Connecticut in the United States and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Southern Connecticut State University.

Covid-19 was not a Black Swan event but an accelerant of rapid change that has and will continue to profoundly affect supply chains into the future. \nThe presentation will discuss three things that the pandemic proved about supply chains and that the success of organizations in the future lies in their ability to adapt\, requiring supply chains to be both resilient and agile. Finally\, the presentation also provides eight recommendations for organizations to develop supply chains that can adapt in a post-Covid world as well as some additional changes for organizations to consider.
